Its main objectives are to:

– provide the foundations of Education, designed as the primary and indispensable knowledge of literacy cultural pupil;
– teach the rules of being together, to live a peacefully school life;
– provide the tools needed to face the future school.

The Primary School “Maeste Pie” was founded in 2001. It was created with the purpose of offering students a complete educational path from kindergarten “Corbucci-Verni” and the Secondary School of First Degree “Santa Filomena”, two historical schools of the Institute of “Maestre Pie Addolorata” of San Giovanni in Marignano. The opening of the Primary School in the Institute of “San Giovanni” has led to the creation of a Comprehensive School which accompanies the student during all stages of growth.

The Institute schools are physically near which allows techers from different school levels to cooperate. This will also lead to an important vertical continuation, which places the path of study and growth of the pupils in a controlled educational environment.

In particular, the Primary School stands as a place of primary education, seen as the first real approach to the school system by the pupil. Its main objectives are to:
– provide the foundations of Education, designed as the primary and indispensable knowledge of literacy cultural pupil;
– teach the rules of being together, to live a peacefully school life;
– provide the tools needed to face the future school.

MPDA Primary School also collaborates with local authorities through a number of projects that take place during the school year, inside and outside the school (with guided tours, trips, tours, collaborations, etc). These projects involve the institutions, bodies and associations in the municipality of San Giovanni in Marignano, in particular:

• Mayor and municipal councilors
• Municipal Police
• House protected
• Sports center
• Library of St. John
• Company of Five Quattrini (theater of San Giovanni in Marignano)

Primary School also implements projects that involve the surrounding municipalities of the Emilia Romagna region, creating a network of territorial relationships that enrich the educational offer of the school.

The intent is to create an operational synergy involving the regional associations close to the school, first of all with those of our town, and later with the neighbouring towns.
